Other Facilities

  • The college has provision for  NCC(Men/Women, Army wing/Air wing) and  NSS( Boys & Girls).
  • The Womens’ Cell of the college has been in operation since 2000-2001. It aims at protecting the dignity and rights of the women students.
  • In accordance with the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, an Anti-Ragging Cell has been formed in the college.
  • The Students’ Grievances  Redressal Cell  has been constituted   to receive complaints from students and ensure justice. Students’ Representatives are  also taken as members of the Cell along with members of the  faculty.
  • There is an Information Dissemination Cell (Under Right to Information Act) which is meant to disseminate relevant information to any one on matters relating to the college.
  • The college has an impressive Alumni Association registered under the name “B.J.B Friends” which meets annually. It is a major source of strength for  the college since  many well placed  alumni have come forward to assist the Institution in promoting excellence.
  • After the college attained Autonomy, it has shown remarkable progress and development in all respects. It has revised the existing curricular, introduced new and challenging subjects of learning and has completely overhauled the traditional examinations system. The college has acquired a number of expensive items of equipments. Nearly all the departments, the Office, the Library and Examination Section are equipped with computers and 24 hours broadband internet facility.

 

  • The college has a playground of 22317sq.mts, which is used for athletic and sports practice by the students of the institution, and also is used for holding Annual athletic meet and various sports competitions throughout the year.
  • The college also has a basketball court within its premises.
  • The students of the college are provided with sports equipment, as and when needed, by the Athletic Association of the college, which operates under the supervision of designated teachers. The Athletic Association also carries out selection of students to represent the institution in extramural competitions.
  • Room No. 102 of the college is a multi-purpose Hall which serves as the auditorium, in which cultural competitions, events and performances are organised at various times. This hall also serves as the venue for faculty and student meetings, seminars and other large-scale events aimed at enhancing and promoting cultural sensibilities of the students.
